Policy Recommendations

The culminating assignment for the course is the creation of a collaborative set of policy recommendations. You will work with policy group to develop the recommendations on the particular education policy that you have researched during this course. Your recommendations can take on a variety of different formats, such as a video advertisement, a memo to policy makers, an implementation plan for teachers, but it should target a specific audience in its content and form.  The recommendations should encapsulate the research your group has done and fashioned to suit your specific policy and its context.  The length of the recommendations will depend on their form; if the medium your group selects is textual, then it should be no longer than 1200 words, and if the medium is visual, it should be no longer than 2 minutes.  Whatever medium you choose, the policy recommendations should be brief, should be written for a specific audience, and should include a comprehensive bibliography of all of the sources you have used over the semester.  Your recommendations will be submitted in draft form on this website by class time on 24 April.
